Who are we? We truly believe that real change is something we should all feel, not just hear about. It's so important to us that no one with a disability is ever just seen for that because they are so much more than that. At Hum Honge Kamyab, we don't just dream of a kinder world for PwDs; we actively work to create it. Our NGO for disabled people believes in gently helping people understand better and build opportunities for them to grow, reach out, and live with respect they truly deserve.
The wrong ideas and not knowing enough can often get in the way of including everyone in our little sanctuary. However, it is well said by someone, “An awakened society is one where every voice is heard and valued”. We humbly feel that by working together, we can break down walls, establish boundaries for these barriers, and commit to bringing a change that makes a rich impact on accessibility for disabled persons.
Mr. Ajay Gupta, a self-driven entrepreneur with over 35 years of diverse business experience, founded Hum Honge Kamyab with a profound personal mission. Having experienced polio since childhood, he deeply empathises with Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). He envisions creating accessibility for those who frequently encounter physical, mental, and behavioural barriers.
Driven by this insight, Mr. Gupta conceived Hum Honge Kamyab, a non-profit organisation to bridge the gap and spread awareness that speaks volume. His emotionally-driven goal is to raise disability awareness and sensitize the public, helping society understand and address the unique challenges PwDs face throughout their lives.
The world is already harsh, why make it worse?
Our disability awareness foundation aspires to offer more than just equal accessibility. It is our hope to enhance each person's journey and potential. All the people with different abilities should feel truly empowered, knowing their rights, and can confidently step into this world. When people understand their rights and believe in themselves, they can step forward with courage and hope. We envision a world where barriers, both visible and invisible, are turned into potential achievements.
Inspired by our vision for a truly barrier-free nation, Hum Honge Kamyab's mission is to redefine what 'Disabled Friendly' means in practice. Driven by a passionate and dedicated team, we are paving the way for their lasting well-being and profound inclusion. Our primary focus not just remains building accessible and inclusive environments but also encouraging a society that embraces change and provides equal opportunities.
